Job Search Tips from LI Founder

Last February, Todd Wasserman posted a synopsis of Reid Hoffman’s book, The Start-up of You, highlighting eight tips for one’s job search.  Reid Hoffman is the co-founder and chairman of LinkedIn.

While some of the advice has been mentioned before, he does put a new spin on these ideas.  One nugget I appreciated was for job seekers to answer the question “A company hires me over other professionals because…” – in short, at what do you excel?  What are your strengths?  Differentiating skills?

Good article to and book to check out.
