A very good article on how to hire Extraordinary Employees from the INC.com site. Geoffrey James highlights some solid tips for those who need to do some hiring – and job seekers may want to see some of the tips that hiring managers may be using in their decision making process.
Personally, I liked tips #3 and #6 as I feel these are good ways to find out if a candidate’s personality is going to work within your team/office/department. The issue I have with #6 (Motivation) is there are times when you need people who specific skill sets and experience. The old saying, “I am a fast learner” just does not cut it sometimes.
