Summer Job Search – Part III

Sorry for the dropoff in postings – lost internet at my house this weekend and was off the grid until today.  Continuing the series of how to look for a job during the summer months, this edition may not seem to have much to do with landing a job, but can improve your chances in the interview.

EXERCISE

Remember that New Year’s Resolution?  Time to make good on it by getting in shape.  Companies like to hire the healthy, energetic looking candidate…it may not sound fair but it is the reality.  Think about it, if you were at a party, would you want to go up and interact with the person who looks lethargic and frumpy, or the smiling, positive, energetic individual?  Time to lace up the sneaks and work up a sweat.
